weathermatic proline

my weathermatic controller keeps blowing the fuse. replace the fuse this morning and started a full systems run test to see if all the stations were working and it ran two stations and blew the fuse.again. could the transformer be causing this?

Boots is correct. The answer is no.

The problem's either a bad solenoid, or crossed wiring.

If you know where the valve is, disconnect one of the wires from the solenoid. Now go back and run the controller again.
Does it still blow the fuse? If no, the solenoid's bad. If yes the wires are crossed. Meaning the common wire and the number 3? wire.
