Timers go off multiple times on sprinkler days (Orbit timers)

We moved in four years ago. There were Orbit sprinkler timers on front and back yards. Both timers exhibit the same behavior:

1. They go off on the right day at the right time.

2. About 45 minutes later they go off again.

3. About two hours later they go off again.

4. About 45 minutes later they go off again.

I have tried resetting them, but they do the same thing, no matter what I do.

THERE IS NO SECOND PROGRAM SET, WE ONLY USE PROGRAM "A". PROGRAM "B" DISPLAYS NO SETTINGS.

I tried resetting and reprogramming, but they still do the same thing.

Has anyone seen this? Thanks.

Check your start times on program A. There should only be ONE start time then the valves will run in sequence.
Someone has set 4 start times.
