Rattling sound, no pressure with timer but ok with bleed valve

Mystery situation...
Irrigation has worked great for years.
Now, one zone is getting really little pressure when run through the timer/computer. Plus, we hear a serious rattling underneath the house, but can't see any water leaking there. Also, to add to the mystery, when we open the bleed valve, all is just perfectly fine. Full pressure, no rattling noise.
Tried to see if switching solenoids would help... Still did not work.
Desperate, need help!
Thanks so much in advance.

Did you also swap wiring or did you just try a different solenoid? If you haven't already Try using a wire to a valve that you know works. Make sure you use a different terminal at the timer. Like if number 3's the problem, use 4 or one that works.
If that doesn't do anything then repair or replace the problem valve.
