Replacing Rainbird DV100 valves

My sprinkler system is approximately 23 years old. One valve has a slight leak. I don't see an anti-siphon valve, but the water department told me there is a check valve at the meter. Can I replace my Rainbird DV 100 valves with the Rainbird 100 ASVF anti-siphon ? My current (5) valves are altogether on the side of my house about 12 inches from the ground. I would have to do some re-piping to get the 100 ASVF to work. Just wondering what my best choice would be ? Any ideas ?
