Broken Irrigation line @ Vavles, Need suggestions

So I noticed I had a leak the other day and dug up my valves to discover this break:

Usually I could repair a broken pvc line, but I'm new to this don't know where to start with this one. Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Not even sure how it broke on the first place. Wondering if one of the landscapers ran into one of the valves.

The surest thing is to rebuild the supply side of the entire manifold (the horizontal section with the break) - you cut away the individual valves at the midpoint of the vertical pipes feeding them - then you cut out the manifold from the pipe leading into it - build a duplicate manifold to copy what you removed, and glue it back to the supply pipe, then glue the individual valves back onto the pipes sticking up from the new manifold.
