Solar Controller

Does anyone make a solar or battery powered controller for those of us too lazy to do the wiring or maybe where the power might not be close by.

Only where the wiring would be extremely costly would you go to battery power.

There are two ways to go when you do not have available electricity at the location you want to install a sprinkler system.

1. You can use Battery Powered controllers or valves

2. You can use Solar Powered controllers

The best way to go is to use the battery powered controllers or valves. Solar powered controllers are very expensive.

1. Hunter SVC Smart Valve Controller (models: SVC-100 or SVC-400)
2. Hunter WVS Wireless Valve System (models: WVS-200 or WVS-400)
3. Rain Bird EasyRain
4. Rain Bird Battery Operated TBOS System
5. Irritrol IBOC Battery Operated System (models: IBOC300)
6. Nelson 8014 SoloRain DuraLife Valve Actuator (model: 8014 or 8015)
7. Nelson 8010 SoloRain Programmable Actuator (model: 8010 or 8012)
