My control panel indicates PR off in manual or auto positions, Fuse is good and 28 V is present on output side. I live in an area where lighting strikes are common as well as power interruptions. What else should I check before I assume controller is fried?

After much seaching I discovered in a John Deere document I found on the web the correct procedure for resetting the controller. The rainbird manual and website do not include this information for end users. Thanks for the help.
