1" valves

Suggestions on Hunter HPV101 vs. Irritrol 205SF. Is flow control worthwhile? Slip vs. threaded in cold climate?

Use the Hunter valves...I don't think it's necessary to jump up in price to the HPV...just my opinion, but we have been using the PGV valves for almost 5 years....could be 4 years...not much trouble with them. We use the HPV's on some projects...no problems with them either, just a little more money.

Yes, get the flow control...I believe it is important for the operation of the valve to adjust the flow control on EVERY zone....again, just my opinion.

Use Threaded valves....just because, cold or warm climate....just my opinion.
