Sprinker layout

I am helping my neighbor with his sprinkler install. His front yard is an almost perfect 86x62 ft. The orbit calculator has 4 zones where there are 4 heads grouped across the font and 4 heads grouped across the back. Then there are 2 zones for the middle 4. Why cant we just run one zone in the middle? I realize that zone may need to run for longer. Pic 1

I would do 3 zones, one top, middle, and bottom. They most likely have it broken up like that for nozzle sizes. Full circles like the ones in the middle are covering twice the area as a 180 degree head (like what is top and bottom). So putting bigger nozzles in those heads to distribute the water evenly is suggested.
However, If those heads are on the same zone, you can simply increase the run time on that particular zone as opposed to putting out more water out of the heads.
