Could anyone help me. I am new at replacing valves. I am not sure if I have the correct valve?

Also could someone explain the current setup of the system I'm trying to replace?

Thanks

The valves installed are better than the ones you want to replace them with. That's my opinion anyway.
Why are you replacing the valves? Are they malfunctioning? Could be they just need new diaphragms. Or you could buy new Hunter inlines and swap out all the parts.
The valve with the filter goes to a drip line most likely. I highly suggest that station's valve have a flow control.

I was told by a repair guy to replace the valve or solenoid.

He said it was old.

Currently the sprinklers don't activate on the controller in this zone.

I have to manually turn the switch on the valve for it to come on.
Also I have excess drainage when its off on the last sprinkler. The lawn is on a hill.

The house is 15 years old. I purchased it 2 years ago and didn't have a problem until now

Ok I looked at the picture again. That's going to be a tricky repair for you simply because of where the valves are located. You'll have to attach the valves on the outlet side first then rebuild the manifold. Usually you screw the valve onto the manifold then reattach the pipe on the outlet side. I'm not sure you'll be able to do that on the valve with the filter.
Here's what I'd do if i was you.

I'd open up the valves and inspect the seats to make sure they're not damaged. I say that because of the constant drainage. If they're in good shape, I'd leave the valve bodies in there and replace all the removable parts.
Here's your valve
So buy two of these and swap out the parts.

Ok thanks,

I'll try what you just mentioned.

Update.

I received the 2 valves in the mail. Switched out all the removable parts and it works great.

Thanks again.
