power spike controller is down Hunter Pro C 600 what to do now.

My whole house got hit, lost a dozen appliances and 2 dozen light bulbs wow. it was crazy , still finding stuff after 2 weeks. Now I find out that the sprinkler system got hit as well. the Hunter Pro C 600 has an internal transformer, am hoping that is all it needs. what do you think and is, and it easy to replace.? :( ?( The battery backup is just for error messages I guess, it is saying ( NO AC ) continuously. need to get it up it's gettin hot.

There could be a whole myriad of problems with your sprinkler system. All the solenoids might be fried.
The controller might be fried. I'm surprised the display works.
Does the outlet work?
You could replace the transformer and see if everything works. It wont be cheap for that controller. 25 bucks? I'm not really sure. I always have a spare used one laying around if need be.
Doing resistance tests on the wiring and solenoids should be done.
Maybe call a guy and see if they'll do an estimate. I've never charged for an estimate. Some do, some don't.
