Just had an odd customer situation... Multiple 311A Irritrol valves. One of them sounds like it is loudly blowing out air from the anti-siphon side? But does not leak after or during valve run. Any clue??

Does that valve control a drip line where there's a filter or a pressure reducer that's the actual cause of the sound?
The sound can travel up the pipe and out the opening of the anti-syphon cap.

That's probably what it was, if no other explanation. I'm not sure if it does control a drip. I was just curious because I had no idea! But I will know for next time, thank you!
