Backflow valve

Hi!
I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. My backflow valve pops for a split second and releases a little water each time a zone opens and closes. The "pop" is very loud inside our house and at 5:30am its disturbing. I have tried taking the highest head off and flushing out the air. No luck! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If this is an RPZ that is spitting water, then it's reacting to water hammer, and it's the water hammer that's responsible for the noise.
