Hunter I-20 with Check Valve & Automatic Drains

I do not blow out my lines to winterize them. I have automatic drains. I am looking to replace my rotor heads with Stainless Steel I-20's. Will the check valve in the sprinkler heads prevent my system from properly draining when I shut off the water, and open the drain in the basement for the winter?
