Installing New Irrigation System at House - Help Please.

Hello all,

I have been looking around the internet for a week or so looking for a good source to show me how to piece my pump and controllers and wiring together.

I am designing my system to flow about 35 GPM, I am on an irrigation system that provides in excess of 60GPM at a head of 15psi already.

I have a RedLion RLSP-200 2HP pump, will be running it at 220V
I purchased a Irritrol PC Controller ( ).
I'm adding a pressure tank ( 5 - 10 gallon )
A Cycle stop valve ( ) ( 1 - 50 GPM)
I also have a pressure switch 40 - 60 PSI
A Hunter pump relay start PSR-22 (

I am irrigating 2.5 acres of grass and trees, I am using a 2 inch main line and 1.5 inch hunter valves ( )

Do I need a one way valve to prevent pressure loss, or will the pressure tank prevent water to run back past my pump. I have 15psi of head coming to pump, I want to run my system at 50 PSI and maintain 50 PSI when the pump shuts down.

I am not sure what and all I need do I need all I have, if I am using a pressure switch, do I need the Hunter pump relay start attached to my Irritrol controller. What is the process for wiring all the electrical together?

Is there a way to protect my pump so that if they turn off the irrigation supply to repair something and not tell me, or my filter gets plugged that it will turn off if there is low or no flow for a short period of time?

Thanks for any help you can lend me.
