FAQs for the Irrigation Caddy

The Irrigation Caddy is a web based sprinkler control system available at Sprinkler Warehouse! We have posted below some common questions that customers have asked us regarding the Irrigation Caddy. If you have other questions, feel free to post them in this thread.

What is the warranty for the Irrigation Caddy?
LIMITED WARRANTY KGControls LLC Irrigation Products, (hereinafter "KGControls") warrants to its customers that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product packaging (proof of purchase required). During the warranty period, KGControls, will replace, free of charge, the part or parts found to be defective under reasonable use and service, as determined solely by KGControls. KGControls reserves the right to inspect the defective part prior to replacement. Liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective parts. This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including, but not limited to warranties for fitness, for use or merchantability. No agent or representative has authority to waive or alter this warranty in any way

What happens in the event of power loss?
The data is stored in Flash so all the programming ( start times, zone durations, settings, zone names, etc), is safe and never lost even after a power loss. The clock is also backed by a small battery so it keeps ticking for several weeks after the power loss. When power returns operations resumes to normal.

What rain sensors can be used?
Any normally “Closed” rain sensor can be used; like the Hunter mini click rain sensors.

Is there a feature that will allow contractors to sign in without having customers information?
Unfortunately not at the moment but we are working on that feature.

Is there a seasonal adjust option?
Working on that as well. It will probably be available soon as part of a firmware upgrade.

Is there an outdoor case so that the controller can be mounted outdoors?
We don’t carry one at the moment, but any off the shelf weatherproof enclosure can do the job.
