You should make your own manifold. Easy to cut, clean and cement pvc.

You have 4 valves and a drip valve, total five. You may need more valves as you have 42 heads planned.

Many different ways to set this up. Wet Boots will know best.

If it were me I would have the 4 valves in one box. As for the drip valve, maybe install it near the beds where it is needed. You will need to run the pvc to this area and if it's a long run it's harder to do. Or first install manifold with 4 valves in one box, then put the drip valve in the other box next to first one. Dig a hole big enough for both boxes, place entire system then cut the boxes as needed.

As far as fittings, general rule is to add up everything you will need, go to Lowe's/HD and buy them - plus extras!!!! I've made many trips to the store for ONE fitting, until I learned to always buy extras!!!

Thanks for the reminder on the 3/4" crush stone.

So that would give me 40" for say 25" of manifold? I wonder if I need an extension between the 3 monifold and the two so that it will be seperated between the manifold. I would also assume I have to purchase all the fittings seperatly as in the end cap, fttings between the valve and manifolds as well and the connection between manifold and poly or pvc?

That's the standard box - they are not that big.

Dig hole and position the valves. Put 3/4" stone on the bottom

Then cut the box so that it fits right over the equipment and exiting pvc and poly. Recip saw works well, occil tool I guess also.

What size box would be needed for:
